So I tried this and I got 2 ballon in but the 3rd wouldn't fit..maybe they gotta be a certain size

@@fuwwe2 All outside balloon size 5 inch to 8 inch in size...centre one has to be little bit smaller.
Balloons knot has to be at extreme end to allow easy adjustment.

How long in advance can I make them?

Before 2 to 5 hrs to events may look brighter & shiny.
A day before also but may be chance of decrease in balloo size & may be change in color too.

What tape did you use

Here,I used double stick tape.
But to avoid any marks on wall glue dots,blutak may works well.
